Hi there!
My name is Juliet and I am 24 years old. I am originally from Boston, however I received my B.S. in Inclusive Early Childhood and Special Education from Syracuse University in May 2022. I am moving back to the area to pursue my Master's degree in Applied Human Development and Family Science, also at Syracuse University.
I worked this past year at a Private Montessori School in Massachusetts as a Toddler teacher, and have many years of experience working with kids in private and public schools, and through nannying and babysitting.
I love working with children and helping them to grow and thrive, and look forward to getting to know you and your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I received my B.S. in Inclusive Early Childhood and Special Education, providing me with the necessary knowledge and skills to work with all children from birth through 2nd grade.
I have also worked at a private Montessori school over the past 5 years as a summer program teacher, substitute teacher, and this past year as a full time Toddler teacher.
I also have previous babysitting experience ranging from ages 10 months to 14 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a lot of different activities! I was a dancer so I love a good dance party. I also enjoy playing sports, doing activities like bowling or mini golf, art and other craft projects, board games, going for walks and to the park or playground, and really any enjoyable activity for kids!
I am also always open to learning something new, at a previous job one of the children taught me all types of magic tricks and it was so much fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is being another person that children can trust and count on. My ultimate goal is to keep the children I work with safe and happy. In a comfortable and safe environment children are most able to grow and thrive and this is what I would like to provide for them.

My experience with special needs children...

With my Bachelor's Degree in Inclusive Early Childhood and Special Education from Syracuse University, I gained knowledge and experience working with Special Education students. Through this program I have student taught in a kindergarten special education classroom as well as inclusive classrooms.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although this is not specifically from nannying but from teaching, one of my favorite moments is that on my last day working at my previous job, one of my toddlers looked up at me and told me she loved me! It was such a sweet moment and I will greatly miss all the connections I made with my students. One of the hardest parts about being a teacher is having to say goodbye to your students at the end of the year!
