My favorite nanny moment was when a little boy I was watching (about 2 years old) saw an injured bird on the sidewalk. He was so scared yet so intrigued. So he grabbed my hand and together we approached the bird. It was the cutest thing; at some point he asked to be picked up and he’d get scared of the bird but then see it was harmless and would have the cutest little laugh.
