I was a paraprofessional at a charter school where I provided direct classroom support to students with special needs in grades 6th-8th. I also worked in the special education department of an elementary school where I provided classroom support and yard supervision for students in grades pre-k to 5th. I also worked as an afterschool science instructor for students in grades pre-k to 5th where I led interactive science lessons to groups of 10-15 students.

I was a paraprofessional where I provided direct classroom support to students with special needs. I assisted with academics, such as modifying lessons and one-on-one instruction. I also provided assistance with developing social-emotional skills such as emotional regulation, understanding social cues, understanding boundaries with peers, and group interactions.
