"Kelly has been truly fantastic with my daughter! She shows up on time, receives feedback well, and I always come home to a happy baby. She does a great job of connecting with my daughter, engaging in activities that my baby enjoys. Kelly loves to listen to music, dance, read books, play with toys, and other engaging activities with my baby. She’s always very friendly and positive and I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter with her. She also does great job of tending to my dog’s needs and keeping the house tidy. Overall I’d say Kelly is safe and reliable and I can’t recommend her enough! She still babysits for us on occasion because she’s been that great. You will be so happy to have Kelly around!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started working with kids at the age of 10 when I babysat 2 children who were about 5 and 6 at the time. As I matured in age I started to tutor my underclassmen in middle school and high school - so I am well familiar in mentoring and assisting children with their academics! My most recent job was at SkyZone Orlando where I started at the age of 16. While working there I was responsible for watching kids and prioritizing their safety, checking in the parents in the least stressful way possible, and ensuring that both the parents and the child have the best experience!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy listening to music and cooking with kids and I love reading to them! I also enjoy going for walks and coloring/drawing with them because it allows me to nurture their creativity. I really enjoy studying with kids because it not only helps the kid better their understanding on subjects but it also allows me to grow as mentor and better my own skills of teaching.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important parts of being a Nanny are protecting the children you are responsible for and making the parents lives easier. Another important aspect of being a Nanny is getting the opportunity to watch them grow into the most unique and amazing version of themselves! It is truly a gift to watch our youth growth up and be successful and it is another gift to know that you played a part in their childhood!
My experience with special needs children...
My experience working with children with special needs is limited. However, I have worked tutoring children with special needs for 3 years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As a nanny I like to prioritize allowing kids to be kids. I love to encourage kids to be their natural selves and try new things just to see what they are good at and what they enjoy doing. Whether it be drawing, dancing, writing, sports and etc. I feel that it is very important for kids to have some sort of extracurricular activity. That way their screen time is lowered and they can have more experience with the real world rather than one electronically. As a nanny I believe that personal hygiene is extremely important for kids to learn especially at this tender age - to help ensure that it is less stressful for them when they become adults. I feel as though kids are the most vital to our future and deserve the necessary help and guidance to be their own version of successful, both mentally and physically. Kids are still humans and have their own opinions and voices so as a Nanny I make it my own task to help them express themselves and protect them and their beliefs.
