More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a mother myself, she is 5 years old and I havent spent more than a couple days without her with me. I took care of a friends newborn into her infancy (changing diaper, bathing, feeding, putting to sleep, calming baby down) and taught her mother what to do and how to handle the baby in stressful situations ex. overwhelmed/baby crying etc. and was able to be the help and break a mother needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Music/dance, children's films & silly fun play are a big part of my routine with children! Going on walks or playing outside are also always fun for both!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel like the most important part is safety. Children can be very spontaneous and they need to be watched closely in most circumstances. Another very important part is communication, with both parent and child. A comfortable and understanding environment for a child is a necessity and they should be able to feel as though they can speak and announce their feelings and emotions to me if they want or need & feel safe.
