My favorite moment nannying has to be when I was watching 4 kids and I had us all make our own pizza, I enjoyed the conversation the most and just seeing how creative they were, the twins made a cat and a face, while the oldest made a flower and the middle child made a hover board. After we made a fort and I made cocoa and we watched a movie and talked until everyone fell asleep.

When my daughter was an infant, I took a break from teaching and provided infant care in my home for one other child. Years later when my toddler son went through cancer, and subsequent nerve damage from the treatment, I became a homeschool teacher for K-8th grade (he is thriving now and close to graduation).
I have literally worked with children all my life. From babysitting, to multiple camp counselor positions, to teaching junior and senior high school, as well as leading vacation Bible school groups, volunteering in the church’s infant room, leading parenting classes, and being a weekly youth leader for preschoolers through highschoolers—over the years I have worked with a myriad of ages and curriculums.
I look forward to this next chapter and the opportunity to hone my "Grandma skills."
