In highschool we had an early childhood education program where they ran a preschool class out of the school and the highschool students were assigned students to work with through each semester and then put together and present a portfolio of progress to the parents at the end of the year, I took this class every semester I was eligible which was three times. I also have been a camp counselor at my neighborhood Catholic children’s camp many times.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love outdoor activities! Arts and crafts are always a favorite of mine as well.
I also love teaching children who are a bit older (6+) cooking basics! As a chef cooking is an important life skill and when a child shows an interest in learning it absolutely delights me to be able to share my knowledge with them at their level.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with two children who were on the autism spectrum, who were honestly some of my favorite clients I ever had. Beyond that I don’t have much experience with special needs children, but I’m always open to learn and gain more knowledge of different people!
