More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a large family with 9 cousins under the age of 8 that I have cared for from time to time. I have also worked in professional settings with children at daycare facilities. Most recently I was a preschool teacher at a facility and have previously been a lead toddler teacher and have floated to rooms with ages 6 weeks to 10 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing educational based activities inside and out! I value process art over product based art to allow the child to explore and have their creations reflect them. I have done multiple science based activities such as making slime, play dough, and painting the snow. I love to do arts and crafts and week as work on fine and gross motor skills.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother was born with very complex medical needs. He had heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, and epilepsy. He had a G-button and was trach/vented. I am by no means a medical expert, but have experience with medically fragile children and am First Aid/CPR certified.
