A little bit about me

My passion for taking care of others started from a young age. I have filled many roles in the caregiving field such as Nanny, Babysitter, Nursing Assistant and School Health Aide. In each of these roles I have created a client centered care focus. My outgoing and vibrant personality makes it easy for me to connect with others. I am currently taking online college courses in Early Childhood Education. Knowing proper developmental milestones is very important to the care of children. Focusing activities with a concentration on being fun, interactive and supportive of growth. Staying patient and understanding of those I interact with is highly important. Meeting the individual where they are at to create the most successful environment possible. I love dancing, singing, traveling and volunteering. Working hard in all aspects of life is essential to growth. My main goal is to have a client centered care to sustain a harmonious lifestyle.

I have worked as a teachers assistant (in Preschool, GSRP, elementary and high school), babysitter, nanny and nursing assistant.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, reading and science/sensory projects.
Outdoor activities are great! I love to stay active by dancing, running, skiiing, ice skating, and going for walks.
Keeping the mind and body active is super important to me.

The most important part about being a nanny is to have a client centered care. To make sure that, as a nanny, I am focusing on what the family needs as a whole. It is my job to make sure that I am helpful to the family and not a burden. Helping the guardians create the most harmonious lifestyle for them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with individuals with autism, ADHD, ODD, OCD, and other exceptional needs. These exceptional needs may be challenging at times, however, they need people who are loving, patient and kind to care for them. Successfully assisting in a Special Education classroom has been rewarding and heart-filling.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I nannied for a family of 4 kiddos and 2 dogs. They held a very active lifestyle. One of my favorite memories was doing a full blown movie night. Which involved a blanket fort, snacks and board games. They absolutely loved this time, and so did I!
