The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny would have to be knowing the children you are caring for. The better you get to know them the easier it is to know how to help when they need it. It makes it easier to do your job as well as easier for them to trust you. It is important to remember just because they’re young doesn’t mean they don’t understand.

My experience with special needs children...

My mothers old coworker has a daughter with special needs and I used to hang out and play with her anytime we were at their house. Eventually I started to babysit her and when I moved away I gave her my dog to help with her anxiety and such.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say my favorite nanny moment was taking this little girl to the aquarium for the first time. She was just adorable watching the fish and other animals. I had such a great time with her it reminded me why I used to like the aquarium so much.
