Hello! I’m Kaitlyn :)
I have professionally been a nanny for 3 years now for a family with two children under 5, however, I do have lots of experience with other families and various ages! Your children and their safety are my number one priority always. I love getting them to feel creative and confident through crafts, learning, and playtime. I have some experience with Montessori learning as well as curricular programs for toddlers! These include Read It Again and Hooked on Phonics. As a nanny, keeping the kids happy and healthy and taking care of things around the house are obviously what i would be there to do. However, I do take more of a developmentally cognizant approach. I love coming up with fun unique activities for the children that are catered to them. Personally, with the children, I love to bake, do crafts, go to the park, go to kids museums, make obstacle courses, etc.

Having lots and lots of patience, being kind, inclusive, setting a good example for the kids the best that I can and lead by example!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part about this most recent family is that I was able build such amazing connections with not only the kids but also the parents! Apart from that, my favorite moment was watching a child learn to read and having the privilege of being the one to help with that!
