A little bit about me

With over a decade of childcare experience, I bring a strong background in early childhood education and hands-on care. I’ve worked in daycares, spent over a year with infants, and two years as a Pre-K teacher. I also served as a paraeducator supporting children with special needs and hold a degree in Early Childhood. In 2014, I volunteered for five months in international orphanages, providing care for individuals from newborns to adults with special needs. I’ve nannied for multiple families and am currently seeking part-time or occasional positions where I can bring my 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, or care for children in my home. I offer a nurturing environment, am happy to assist with light housework, and love planning enriching activities and outings. I previously brought my children to a nanny role, and it was a positive experience for all involved. I look forward to finding a great fit with a new family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, science experiments, going to the park, aquarium, and zoo. I love playing games with the kids. I have an activity box that I keep with me it has art supplies, games, puzzles, and books. Mainly just activities for all ages.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the kids feel loved , safe , and to help them have a fun time and that there’s good communication between the parents and I as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I was an aid for a year in a special needs classroom for ages 6-10. I’ve also babysat for families with special needs children. When I lived at an orphanage the main orphanage I volunteered at was solely special needs children and I would help them do their therapies , eat , and assist with getting dressed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching the children I work with learn new concepts that I teach them and getting really excited about it. Excited to show mom and dad and then eagerly show me again that they remembered it the next day.
