Some activities I love doing with kids include reading stories, playing outside, doing fun arts and crafts, and using our imagination with pretend play. I also enjoy helping with simple games or puzzles and keeping them engaged in positive, creative activities. My goal is always to make sure they are having fun while staying safe.

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is always comfortable and having fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I have spent time working with special-needs kids when I intern at my pre-school. I’m with them one-on-one and helping them go over what they’ve learned. When a child used an iPad to communicate, I made sure to be patient and give them the time they needed to express themselves. I also spoke slowly and used simple words so they could understand and feel supported.
