Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I previously worked at a daycare as a Teacher’s Aide, primarily in the two-year-old classroom. I assisted with supervising and caring for toddlers, supporting classroom routines, activities, playtime, meals, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I’m also a mother, which has given me additional hands-on childcare experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, imaginative play, music and dancing, puzzles, and age-appropriate learning activities. Outdoors, I enjoy walks, playground trips, exploring nature, and letting kids get outside and play!

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring environment where a child feels comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. I also believe in building trust with parents, respecting their routines and parenting preferences, and providing the same patience and attentiveness I would want for my own child.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience comes from being a parent to a level one autistic child with a language processing delay. Through parenting, I have hands-on experience supporting communication differences, sensory needs, routines and transitions, emotional regulation, and individualized learning and development. I understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and meeting each child where they are.
