My name is Kara Winfield and I am writing today to convey why I’m confident my mindset, skillset, and

I am a team player who is often described as a “go-getter”. As a Special Education paraprofessional, my “why” has
always been defined as someone who wants to bring out the best for our students.. I have successfully
and consecutively done just that as a paraprofessional.
For Five years I traveled an hour to work each way, from Killeen to Waco to greet my students' smiling
faces. I did this because of the joy it brought me and my students everyday. To watch them grow and
progress from day to day and year to year has been an amazing experience. I am also trained to work with any kind of disability out there I’m a very patient compassionate person and love working with children I am also a first time mom as well so I understand trying to find the perfect person to trust around your children.
