I am currently majoring in Childhood Education, which strengthens my understanding of child development and learning strategies. The most important part about being a nanny...
Okay so I have two answers one specifically coming from a teaching standpoint as someone who has had lots of hands on experience inside the classroom, children need consistency and they need regulation. Meaning that they are little people who sometimes will need help navigating the big emotions that they’ve never experienced before and as those trusted adults the way we do those things is way more critical than what most people think.
The second part is coming from someone who is hugeeeee on reading and not having children be a part of a ongoing literacy crisis.

I’ve worked with special needs children many times, as a teaching assistant and as well on a personal level with my own godchild.

My favorite nanny moment would have to be with my first family I ever worked with, I nannied for there 2 year old and I worked for them for over 3 years and I was personally invited to their child’s preschool graduation I cried like a baby of course but it was such a honor to see one of my nanny baby’s grow up to be such a amazing little human.
