For instance, as the oldest of four siblings, I’ve often taken on a caregiving role, helping my parents with daily routines, homework assistance, and organizing activities to keep my younger siblings engaged and entertained.
Additionally, I have babysat for family where I was responsible for ensuring the children’s safety, preparing meals, and planning educational and recreational activities. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate effectively with children of different ages, and handle various situations calmly and responsibly.

I really enjoy engaging in a variety of activities with children that are both fun and educational. Outdoor Play. I love organizing outdoor games like tag, scavenger hunts. These activities help children stay active and develop their motor skills. Arts and Crafts. Creative projects such as drawing, painting, and making crafts are always a hit. They allow children to express themselves and improve their fine motor skills. Reading. I enjoy reading stories to children and encouraging them to read along. This not only helps with their literacy skills but also sparks their imagination. Cooking and Baking. Simple cooking or baking activities are great for teaching children about measurements, following instructions, and healthy eating habits. Plus, they get to enjoy a tasty treat at the end! Music and Dance. Singing songs, playing musical instruments, or having a dance party are wonderful ways to engage children and boost their mood.

is ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. Providing a nurturing and supportive environment. A nanny should be compassionate, patient, and understanding, offering comfort and stability. Maintaining open and effective communication with the parents is vital. This ensures that the nanny understands the parent’s expectations and can provide updates on the children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t had the opportunity to work directly with special needs kids yet, but I’m very interested in learning more about it. I understand that it requires patience, empathy, and specialized skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories is teaching my 3-year-old sister Gabby how to make spaghetti. It was such a fun and messy experience! We spent the afternoon together in the kitchen, with her standing on a little stool to reach the counter. She was so excited to help stir the sauce. Seeing her face light up when we finally sat down to eat the meal she helped make was priceless. It was a wonderful bonding moment and a reminder of how even simple activities can create lasting memories.
