Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked for a year caring for a newborn until he started daycare and his parents no longer needed my help. In my home country, I also cared for a baby from 11 months old until he was 3 years old. He had autism (ASD), and I prepared his blended meals, took him to parks regularly, and created exercises and activities to help him learn and improve his skills.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I usually prepare arts and crafts activities to keep children entertained, using materials and projects that I bring with me. I enjoy keeping them engaged with different activities instead of relying on screens.
I also love going for walks, visiting parks, playing outside, and helping children socialize, make friends, and feel part of the community. I like introducing them to different activities and experiences so they can explore and discover what they truly enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny is learning who the child really is. Every child has their own personality, routines, and little things that make them happy. I think a good nanny should be willing to adapt, be patient when things don’t go as planned, and enjoy the little moments instead of trying to make every day perfect. For me, it’s about becoming part of their routine while also giving them space to grow and be themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I understand that every child is different and may need a different approach. I’m very patient, attentive, and willing to learn what makes each child feel comfortable, safe, and understood. I like creating activities based on their interests and abilities, while encouraging independence, communication, and confidence. I always try to be supportive and make sure they feel included and part of the community.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the sweetest memories I have from caring for the little ones was how much they loved having me sleep next to them. I was trying to teach them how to sleep independently in their own rooms, but every time they felt me leaving, they would wake up and somehow keep me there. I definitely felt trapped sometimes, but it was also adorable and made me laugh.
They also loved animals, and since I absolutely love dogs and cats, we spent a lot of time around them, playing and making little memories together. I have so many small, special moments from caring for them that I will always carry in my heart. ❤️
