Providing a safe environment where they can express themselves and their feelings. Helping them understand their emotions, providing them with appropriate and safe activities/actions when feeling overwhelmed, anxious, upset or sad. Provide support, encouragement and confidence.

While we were doing an activity I wasn’t able to see a piece of string on the table, and one of our kids told me that’s why I needed to wear my glasses because old people can’t see well and need to wear their glasses at all times! 😭😂
