Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a waitress at the VFW in Britton SD. I have also helped clean homes through a cleaning service. When I did nanny, it was mostly through the summer months and it was off and on for about 6-7 years. It was the same child as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to do arts and crafts, it is always great for kids to show their creative side. Outside is great for going to the park or even riding a bike.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother has cerebral palsy so I know how hard it is for kids to communicate sometimes. Being patient and understanding is a big part of children with special needs. My step sister also has Down syndrome so it was fun to be able to learn about how she does things with her.
