Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids active, entertained, and making fun memories together! Some of my favorite activities include going to the park, visiting the zoo, trampoline parks, playing sports, riding bikes, going on walks, and enjoying little outdoor adventures! I also love taking kids out for lunch, grabbing ice cream, or planning fun outings. On days we stay inside, I enjoy baking, arts and crafts, board games, building forts, watching movies, and finding creative ways to have fun! With my cheerleading background, I especially enjoy encouraging children to stay active, try new things, and build confidence. I understand that every child has different interests and personalities, so I always try to plan activities around what makes them happiest! Whether we’re out exploring or enjoying a cozy day at home, my goal is to make sure every child feels included, safe, and cared for!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is knowing that I can make a difference in a child’s life, even in the smallest ways! I have always had such a soft spot for kids, and I truly believe every child deserves to feel loved, safe, heard, and understood. Working as a pediatric dental assistant and cheer coach has shown me how much a little patience, encouragement, and extra TLC can mean to a child. I love being the person who can turn a bad day into a good one, make them laugh when they’re upset, or help them feel proud of something they’ve accomplished. I don’t want to just be someone who watches your children. I want to be someone they look forward to seeing, feel comfortable around, and can always count on. I also want parents to have peace of mind knowing their little ones are being treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own family. To me, being a nanny is so much more than a job. It’s about building genuine connections and making memories!
My experience with special needs children...
Through my experience as a pediatric dental assistant, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children who have different developmental, behavioral, and sensory needs. I’ve learned that every child is unique and that what works for one child may not work for another! I always try to approach each child with patience, kindness, and understanding. Some children need extra time to feel comfortable, while others may need a quieter environment, gentle reassurance, or a different way of communicating. I never want a child to feel rushed, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. I believe in meeting children where they are and celebrating even the smallest accomplishments!
