Hi my name is katherine but you can call me kat :), I grew up in a pretty big family and me being the oldest I’ve always felt that I became a mom at such a young age but it was honestly one of the best experiences I could’ve imagined! i love children, being able to watch and help them learn and grow at every stage of their lives. I love the creativity and imagination kids bring and they only get bigger! Children are the biggest gift in our lives and there’s nothing more I would rather do than to be able to support and care and love them as if they were my own :)

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

my best friend had a baby about a couple years ago and during that time she was a single mom so I stepped in to help her in those times when her baby was born, and when she needed to go back to work I volunteered to be her baby’s caretaker when she turned 6 months and took care of her till she was about 1 year ! Being able to take care of my best friends baby was such an amazing experience it got to show me so much on how to provide for little ones, it definitely became the reason to why I wanted to take care of children and be able to support and care in any way I can !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I personally have a good ol time with whatever the child wants to play with, whether that’s coloring inside and building with their toys, to dressing up as little princesses and having tea parties or enjoying the sun and being outdoors and showing them the art of what’s in the world and creating that bigger image of what their imagination holds

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that the most important part of being a nanny is how you nurture and care for these children. As a nanny you get the ability to guide and influence a young child. Being able to create a beautiful bond with children is such a blessing, kids should know they are loved and cared for, they deserve nothing but happiness and greatness, their little minds are shaped because of us we get to show them the beautiful aspects of this life, we have to look out for the little ones in the bestest way possible they are our future.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to nanny my cousins (9!year old boy, 11 year old boy and 14 year old girl) when they were little and I was about 18 years old at the time, my aunt is a very busy hard working woman and so I stepped in to take care of them and a lot of the time they loved to bake and do artsy activities, so we would tend to bake cakes and make our own designs on them and help eachother in mixing the colors to expand their imagination
