A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Kate Barbee, I am 30 and have been working with kids for a while now!

I was born and raised in Texas and went to UT Austin for my BFA. Just last year I moved to New York from LA and seeking teaching opportunities alongside managing my art business. My passion is creating work and sharing my knowledge to others and I enjoy bringing that aspect into babysitting and nannying. If you’re interested as well, I have provided art lessons during the babysitting session in the past.

Some of my hobbies include cooking, going on long walks with my dog, reading, and going to art events. I am looking to open up my idea of New York a bit more and explore outside of my art studio. So if your kid is the creative kind, I will for sure have a lot of activities ready to look forward to!

My goal as a babysitter is to make you and your family comfortable and happy so that you can enjoy your time off from the kids without worry.
