My experience with special needs children...
I was president of the Best Buddies program at my high school. I hosted lunches for students to eat with our special needs students. This was able to help expose them to more socialization and build their communication skills. I also did a volunteer program that helped special needs youth, teens, and young adults put on musical performances while allowing them interact with a variety of people.
