A little bit about me

Hello my name is Kate I am a certified EMT/Firefighter, currently studying to get my Paramedic License. I have been CPR certified since I was 10 years old. I have watched children from 1 years old up to 12/13 years old since I was 13. I regularly have watched two kids the ages of 7-9 years old for about three years and two girls for about five-ten years. I also have two years experience as a Preschool teachers assistant. I am open to helping out when/where I can. I worked and entertained at Chuck E Cheese for a year while in fire academy. On a personal level I have a 10 year old sister as well. I am currently applying at Departments so I have a lot of free time right now and take that up with studying, exercising, and meal prepping.

Two years at New Smyrna Cuda Care program. Teaching children basic age appropriate games. Proper snacks and food (keeping an eye on foods for allergies). Exercise games and cleaning time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have always been an active person I enjoy being outside, riding bicycles, walking trails, and parks. Also have 11 years of soccer experience (playing, coaching, and refereeing). Weather pertinent have done picnics, scavenger hunts, etc.

To me is protecting. I am a huge proponent on making sure their safety is the number one and top priority.

Very little experience besides running EMS calls in the past.

Hit me hard recently. The four children I used to babysit very frequently are now babysitting children themselves. It’s pretty amazing seeing them get older and almost adults.
