I have dealt with many kids through my afterschool care teacher experience, like working with kids that are non verbal! It’s very hard to gain a kids trust but I was able to achieve that and began to understand them better and pick up on signs of them trying to communicate to me. It’s very important to pay attention to the way a kid functions because it tells you a lot about them and how to respond and react!
