The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to adapt to each child you work with. Each child is so different, and they need to be shown love sometimes in different ways. The best thing is to get to know their personality and the way they think so that you can help them. I think patience is crucial too. They will go through times where they need reassurance and consistency from their nanny. My job as a nanny is to give that to them. The child needs to know they can rely on me as their nanny.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied four boys for 7 years! When I started working for them their third son was about 2 months old. When their fourth son was born, I got to be there in the room when he was born, and I got to hold him minutes after he was born. Definitely the best moment as a nanny. He and I share a tight bond to this day.
