Is making sure the children are not only are safe and taken care of, but feel safe and taken care of. If the child I am caregiving for doesn't feel that I love them, I am not doing my job efficiently enough. I am there to teach and support them and give my all as an educator.
My experience with special needs children...
Is minimal but not non existent, I have experience with autistic children but would love written clarification for anything and anything specific about routine and needs. Medically, none. I can follow a Drs. prescription request from the parent, following the dosage of the medication from the medication prescribed from a doctor.

Is when I pull into the driveway or am walking up the steps and I hear "MS KATIE!" and am greeted with hugs <3
