I’ve been passionate about childcare since I turned 18, beginning my journey at the YMCA of Orange and recently transitioning to a private after-school program with Catalyst Kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities that foster creativity, learning, and fun. I love organizing hands-on arts and crafts projects, where kids can express themselves and develop fine motor skills. Outdoor play is another favorite, as it promotes teamwork and physical fitness—whether through organized games like soccer or imaginative free play. I also enjoy interactive learning experiences, such as science experiments or storytelling sessions, that ignite curiosity and critical thinking. Creating a positive and enriching environment where children can learn, explore, and grow is truly rewarding for me!

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the rewarding experience of working with children with special needs, including those who are non-verbal, on the autism spectrum, and managing ADHD behaviors. This experience has deepened my understanding of how to provide tailored support to meet each child’s unique needs and strengths. Currently, I am expanding my skills by taking ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) classes, which are enhancing my ability to create structured, positive learning environments that help children thrive both socially and academically.
