Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Definitely outdoor activities! I love the outdoors with a passion. I also really enjoy baking with children, not only is it a great experience for them to learn it’s also amazing feeling when you see that the child is truly enjoying themselves as well as learning their measurements, ingredients, the different textures of everything that’s being mixed together, etc. I also love reading with children, just watching them grow is an amazing feeling. Fun helping them learn their alphabet, their numbers, anything they need help with.
I also enjoy playing games with them, whether it’s a board game, or an outdoor game. Any activity that brings a smile to a child’s face, definitely makes my day. If you’re caring for someone’s child, they should be enjoying themselves and by enjoying themselves that means having fun (at the appropriate times of course).

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure that the child/children are being properly cared for. Another important part of being a nanny is definitely 100% making sure that you are being that type of role model that you’d want those children to be! It’s like when you make a decision you have to think would I want them doing this… yes or no?!?!!!…
Another important part about being a nanny is making sure you understand the child/children that you’re caring for. Not every child is the same, there are some that when you might teach them some thing and they absorb it like a sponge, whereas there may be another that you might need to take a little extra time and go over it a few times. Either way is great as long as the child/children are getting taught properly.

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with autism, down syndrome, TBI, just to list a few.
They were all amazing children! I loved being able to watch them grow into the individuals they are today!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Oh gosh… There’s so many, but it would definitely have to be the first day that I met the little one I was going to watch. It was 3:30 in the morning, and their mom was just getting ready to leave for work, when they woke up after telling their mom bye, they took one look at me and said nope! And ran back into the room just to go hide under the covers. When I walked in the room they try being as quiet as possible, but as soon as I said that we were making chocolate chip waffles for breakfast they ran out so fast. It might sound like a lame story but if you were there the facial expressions, the laughter and everything. Was just priceless.
Another one would have to be when the potty training began with another child. There are so many stories when it comes to potty training. I honestly wouldn’t even know where to begin(:
