I try to do a little bit of everything with kids. From going outside to the park, going for walks, the beach, all weather permitting. Rainy days are fun too. Bring out the arts and crafts and put some music on. Down time is appreciated as well. It's always healthy to take an 1hr break to recollect and rest the mind and body. During this time I encourage quite play. Playing with a puzzle, coloring, or reading a book.
