Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In the two daycares I have worked at, I was in the infant rooms. The first year was with 12-18 month children, the second was 6 week through 6 months.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading- I believe reading should start early on and continue to be made fun so they can begin the path to be a lifetime reader.
Art- no matter how young a child or infant may be, experiencing colors, different textures or shapes, I’m introducing them to explore a creative side.
Dress up/ Make believe- let children explore their imaginations.
Physical activity- crawling, cruising, climbing and walking are all important for specific milestones!
Nature- kids of all ages need to be immersed in nature and be allowed to explore the fresh air and changing of the seasons! Lots of walks and outdoor play time!

The most important part of being a nanny, is ensuring that parents and children both know they are well taken care of, their needs are being met at baseline, but expecting better, and know that someone is there during the day to love them while their parents are working or away from home.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have experience with special needs children, however if taught by a parent on how to meet qualifications for children with specific needs, I have no doubt we would be able to work together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love, love watching infants grow into toddlers and really get to experience life on their terms! They are only little for so long, waiting for their personalities to emerge is so much fun!
