A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Kathleen and I have been a babysitter for the last 8 years. Babysitting is a joy to me! I have experience caring for infants to teenagers as well as families with up to 6 kids. Every kid is different but I have had experience caring for children with developmental delays and feeding tubes and if your child has a need I do not know how to care for I am willing to learn. I typically babysit 15 hours a week during the school year as I am a full time college student. In 2023 I was a kindergarten teacher over the summer at a private school where I implemented a joyful and safe learning environment for the children in my care. In 2024 during the summer I was an nanny for a family with three kids where I managed their active schedules taking them to summer tutoring, swim lessons, and trips to the children's muesem. More About Me

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a babysitter/nanny to me is making sure the child in my care is safe. Having fun is an added bonus that I strive for, but safety is a must.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for two children with developmental delays, and a child with cerebral palsy. Both the child with cerebral palsy and one of the children with developmental delays had a feeding tube. I also cared for a child who had to take medication regularly throughout the day. Lastly, many of the children I care for have allergies and while I have never had to use an epipen I am willing to incase of emergency.
