hello! my name is Kathryn im 18 years old, im a senior in high school, im homeschooled so I have a lot of free time! growing up I didn't have the best nannies so I know the do's and donts, I also have anxiety and deal with stress and im very understanding about that some people will think " oh she has anxiety this isn't good" but in my mind it shows that im able to help others who have anxiety or panic attacks and being able to fully support the other since ive dealt with it too!! I also love and adore working with kids, in elementary school my teachers allowed me to go in and work with the special ed kids up until 7th grade. im a very bubbly person as well as caring, understanding, kind, im very easy to talk to I have a great humor ( according to my friends) I would love to help out a family and create a sweet and safe bond with them and the kids!!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

back in middle school I loved working with kids and I would help out the teachers with the special needs kids I absolutely loved doing this when I was younger I loved being able to take care of the kids and also just teach them I created a bond with some of the kids and even till this day I will stop by and see how they are doing.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

playing video games, board games, going on walks, watching tv shows, painting, baking, cooking, playing dolls or cars, arts and crafts, coloring books

The most important part about being a nanny...

being able to take stress off the parents minds and worry’s, being able to also take care of the kids and making sure that they are safe, happy, healthy. As well and just taking care of the house and pets (if you guys have pets) just overall taking care of everything for you guys!

My experience with special needs children...

i have helped out in school with special needs kids I was like another teacher to them who just loved and took care of them i understand that some special needs kids don’t talk or know how to communicate very well or some have anger issues or bad anxiety and I’ve worked with a lot who’ve had those issues and I’m totally fine with them:)
