Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for a South Tampa family for their 4 year old son for 5 1/2 months. ( Reference available ). I’ve also been a 4th grade classroom teacher for 6 years as well as an activities coordinator for Registry Hotel in Naples, FL. I oversaw and ran the hotel’s activities and the kids’ club. We did many hands -on experiences filled with fun and educational opportunities.Of course being a parent of 2 girls for 20+ years is the best experience of all!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors so any nature hikes/walks/bike rides are especially enjoyable. I own a bicycle built for 2 which is great fun! I love music and theater/show tunes as well as all genres of music. I used to teach/coach children’s tennis and i love cooking with children.

I specifically remember a sweet moment when teaching in a 2nd grade classroom one afternoon. We had had a long, tiring day and a hurricane was approaching our area and the children were especially anxious. I was calming them and trying to keep their minds preoccupied with a story. When it was over I glanced at the clock and realized we still had 2 hours till dismissal… and one of my quietest students came up to me and said “Mrs. C, I LOVE YOU!” I immediately melted and remembered why I loved my job so much.
