Hello! My name is Katie I am 32 years old and I am happily married with a two year old son. Raising our children is my passion, and I take great pride in how I do so. I was a full time nanny and helped raise three littles before I had my own for many years. I worked as a pre school teacher in my early twenties and help take care of many neighborhood children, my 8 nephews and 1 niece. I have a gentle approach, and make sure our children feel heard and help them learn, while helping them understand how to express themselves and cater to that child’s individuality. I am ideally looking for a family that would not mind me bringing my son, or coming to my house. My house is very tidy, I cook healthy organic meals, and make sure not to miss a teaching opportunity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was a nanny up in Westchester New York, I was with that family for 6 years. The twins were just born and Nate was 2. I watched them grow, was there for all of their important mile stones ( 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday) and I also traveled with the family quite often. Creating that bond with them was something so special, I still keep in touch with the family and we FaceTime often. It is hard to pick one moment because I got to see and experience so much with them.
