I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. I love any kind of arts and crafts - coloring, drawing, painting. I love being creative - making forts, playing make believe. I try to get outside as much as possible, whether that is going to the park, beach, museum, zoo, or just taking a walk around the neighborhood.
The most important part about being a nanny...
making sure the kid(s) can look back on the time they spent with me and know that their nanny made a difference. Whether that was showing them love and support when they needed it, or just exploring and playing together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was with the last family that I nannied for. The daughter was around 2 years old and was very loving, caring, and had a big personality at such a young age. She made friends with a boy around the same age as her - the first time they met she insisted on holding his hand and going around the park to show him all the slides and swings, then wanted to share her toys and books that we brought with us. It was my favorite and most rewarding moment as a nanny because she was not only being more independent and social (she was a little on the shy side) but was also then sharing after we had been working on our sharing skills.
