I worked as a Primary Care Giver. In this role I attended to the cognitive, social/emotional, health, and physical care of children ages 24-36 months. I communicated effectively with parents daily regarding child’s development, behavior, and activities. In addition, I demonstrated knowledge and competency of child development, and generated and executed lesson plans.

Activities I enjoy doing with children are crafts I discover on Pinterest, cooking/baking together, playing board games, puzzles, coloring, reading, etc. I think physical activity is also very important so I enjoy taking walks or trips to the park for play time.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is the child's well being. It's a privilege to be an essential part in the child's/family's life. Watching a child grow both mentally, and physically is a wonderful feeling.
My experience with special needs children...
I interned at a day care/learning center that specialized in children with autism or related special needs. While interning I created curriculum for the children, and cared for their well being which included changing diapers, feeding, and cleaning. I also was in charge of Marketing the center via Social Media.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be a trip to the beach while I was nannying in the city (Chicago). The children had such a fun time playing in the sand and in the water.
