More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've volunteered to read books to the children at a couple elementary schools, I was an assist in special needs classrooms with 25+ kids, I babysat my newborn nephew for a week when I was 16, and I've tutored my younger siblings in english and history.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very creative so I loveee crafts and all of that jazz, I was a dancer for 14 years so I'm very active and totally okay with getting outside and going on walks, bike rides, etc. Summer can be very hot, so if I have permission and the children want to go swimming or play at a splash pad I would be more than happy to take them! I am also great for little boys and their nerf gun wars & video games:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny is making sure everyone is happy. You and your kid(s). I am really good at problem solving situations others would get frustrated over. While making sure all of the parents wishes are granted, I will 100% make sure your kid(s) have fun and want to see me again:)

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for 25+ highschool special needs kids. I was their favorite assist by far and looked forward to seeing them every day. I grew close with quite a few of them and got to watch them graduate alongside me:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was babysitting a 10 year old girl and her 6 year old brother, we had quite a fun night. The girl was recieving piano lessons every weekend but explained she wasn't making much progress. Since I have piano experience, I taught her a duet on the piano called, "heart and soul" and we performed it for her parents when they got home.
