In addition to 14 years of nanny experience and am also the mother of a 26 year old. I volunteered a great deal during her early school years; grades K -5 particularly. I was a Brownie leader for a large troop (1st - 4 th grades).

I love being outside during all seasons with children! I also love playing games, make forts and being silly with children. But nothing is better than snuggling on the couch with a bunch of books!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The opportunity to take care of kids without having all of your hopes and dreams caught up in their rearing; such as I did as a parent! There is a unique connection that you have with kids that you care for, but whom are not your own; the effect is pure joy! I imagine that it is much like being a grandparent!
