Hi! My name is Kaya, and I am currently a senior at USC.
I am offering childcare, household services, and pet sitting services.
I am a motivated and caring babysitter/ nanny with 1 year of prior childcare experience for families with two children between the ages of 5 and 10 years and a dog. My responsibilities have included driving to/ from summer camps and highly populated events, assisting in overnight bedtime routines, and taking children to outdoor playgrounds. Even though I do not have my car in Los Angeles, I do have a valid Driver's License.
Moreover, I have worked as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and organize spaces upon request. I have also worked as a pet sitter for dogs, cats, and fish and am happy to work with families with pets.

"Kaya is very responsible, calm, loving and a great influence on the children. She is happy to plan and take them to educational and fun outings. She is interactive with the children and enjoys puzzles and games. I also loved that she got them outside and moving in the fresh air. She prepares healthy meals and snacks and is mindful to follow family guidelines. My son has a severe tree nut allergy and she was cautious and reliable in his care. Kaya worked on house projects independently with out supervision and with little direction. She was happy to take on responsibilities outside her Nanny role when we were traveling like dog sitting and pantry cleaning and organizing. I have my Nannies keep track of their hours and payment schedule. She was organized, honest and timely in her records and communication. I think you will enjoy having Kaya as a part of your extended family. She is a Jewel and would be with us if she was still in Texas."

I have worked as a summer nanny for three families since graduating high school in 2021 in various roles ranging from childcare assistant for a parent with a hybrid role to a part-time overnight nanny. In addition to my prior work experience as a nanny, I have volunteered with youth populations since enrolling in college at USC. I am a session leader with Science Outreach, a service organization dedicated to introducing science education through fun experiments to elementary schoolers, and I have been an active member of SCout since January 2022. Furthermore, I am a member of the USC Helenes, the official hosts of USC who engage in the community through service, DEI, family, and spirit. For examples, I have worked face-painting and tutoring events through this organization since August 2022. Finally, I volunteered as a French educator with USC's Joint Educational Project, which is a service-learning program for local middle and high schools.
