Hi! My name is Kayden. I have been a nanny/ babysitter for the past 8 years. I am currently 21 and looking for something flexible while I’m still in school. I am currently going to UNC to become a kindergarten teacher. I am hoping to get a position from October to June of 2026. This will be a short period but I do start my shadowing and internships after that. I am a Colorado native and love the outdoors! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher at the learning experience in 10 Colorado for approximately a year and a half. I quit there and decided to become a nanny for two lovely boys ages three and one. I have been watching them for approximately two years and have loved it however, the commute is way too far for me so I am having to step back from that. I have also been doing part-time nannies and babysitting gigs since I was about 14 years old and have a lot of experience with children of all ages.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a nanny because I really do believe that children learn best from a play set environment. I also believe it is really great for children to get out and do a lot of things that they wouldn’t normally get to do inside of a classroom setting. I want to be there to not only help the parents out, but to be an advocate for those parents as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with a younger sister who has Asperger syndrome, which is a form of autism. I work very well with children of all abilities. I have also worked with several children who are wheelchair bound. My mom worked as a pair for several years so I got to experience a lot of these different abilities firsthand.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has been watching one of the boys that I am currently with grow up from birth to now and seeing the progression over the years I think it’s really bittersweet
