A little bit about me

My name is Kayla, I have worked with children for about five years. I am married to a wonderful man and we have two children together. My son is five years old and started Kindergarten in August and my daughter will be one year in April. On the weekends we love to stay home and spend time together reading books, watching movies and playing with toys. I currently work at a daycare center but am interested in working for a one family. I am able to bring everything I learned from being in a daycare setting to the family I work for. This includes teaching to walk, creating a love for books, teaching some basic baby sign language and of course creating a loving environment.

Being a nanny is important because children need a safe and loving environment to grow in. But parents also need to be able to work, having a nanny allows them peace of mind that their child is in good hands so that they can work without worrying about their child.

I love when babies first take steps, when toddlers start talking, I love when you teach a child something and they use that knowledge later on but in front of you. I love watching children learn and grow.
