The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with the child while making sure they feel safe and cared for. I enjoy being involved in their everyday routine, whether that means helping them get ready in the morning, preparing meals, playing together, helping with homework, or doing activities they enjoy. I want the child to feel comfortable coming to me, knowing that I will be patient, attentive, and there for them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was spending the day with a child doing arts and crafts, playing games, and making snacks together. At the end of the day, they gave me a big hug and told me they had so much fun and wanted me to come back. It meant a lot to me because it showed that they felt safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care.
