My name is Kayla, I am 29, and helping the next generation grow is one of my passions.
EXPERIENCE: 4 years retail management experience, 4 years running my own nursing home for mentally ill, and countless years of helping to raise my friend’s children, younger sibling, nephews, nieces and cousins.
When I ran my nursing home, first aid and CPR licenses were required. We can discuss recertification if needed.

SERVICES: tutor and help with homework. I can provide light house keeping, and meal prep.

METHODS: I believe in the Montessori method, in which the child is guided with supervision through a task to help foster independence, confidence and dexterity.
I believe in teaching a child emotional intelligence if there is conflict. Such as how to process their emotions, calming their nervous system, and working through the situation together with compassion.
