Hi there, my name is Kayla!
I am 31 years old and have come to find working in the childcare industry is one of my very favorite careers. For my experience, I baby sat many years ago as a teenager and I have also held more of a nannying position for two girls at a friend’s home. I started with the oldest when she was only a year and a half. I also have a ton of experience with kids due to my three siblings! The age gap being 10 & 13 years! I lived in Florida for a few months and while there, I worked for a daycare where I was responsible for twelve one to one and a half year olds! Since coming back to Connecticut, I have worked for two daycares. See Us Grow Daycare in Branford, and Honey Tree Daycare in Monroe. At both locations I was responsible for up to eight infants. I have also been a licensed foster parent for my two sisters, now eighteen and twenty-one. That process began back in 2022! Needless to say, I have experience across all ages!!

I’ve been an infant/toddler daycare teacher at three daycares! I was responsible for twelve 1-1 1/2 year olds alongside another woman down in Florida then up here in CT, I was responsible for eight infants again alongside one other woman. I have also ‘nannied’ in the past at my friend’s home for two girls. They were as young as one and three and it was over the course of a few years based on needs

I love getting the kids outside as much as possible and am very big on arts and crafts!
