More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When I was in high school I volunteered to be a camp counselor every year, for me it was more of being able to give back to those who needed a place away from home rather than just a paycheck.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love art, I also love exploring outside and creating fun games like treasure hunts for the children. I enjoy hide and seek, letting the kids be involved in dinner time along with baking. I want to help hone their reading and writing skills and being of as much emotional support as possible as it is important for them to experience stimulation with their growing brains!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Structure is the most important because it incorporates steadiness and knowing what everyone is getting into, I want them to have a great time with me while knowing I also want to help mold them into the best versions of themselves that they can be, they’re like sponges, what they see is what they absorb and I want to be a source of good in their eyes, someone they’re proud of.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with all sorts of children with special needs, all they need is a little extra love and attention :) while making sure I’m respecting their boundaries and understanding what they do and do not like so I can properly schedule a day of fun for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of the job is when I have earned the love and respect from a child and their parents. I still have written and drawn gifts from previous children dating back 10 years, they mean a lot to me and I’ll always cherish them.
