A little bit about me

My name is Kaylee Bogoski. I am 17 years old and I love kids! I currently babysit two kids, a 8 month old infant and a 2 year old toddler for three hours three times a week. I've come to realize the enjoyment that comes with babysitting and now I want to be a full time nanny. I have three sisters and am the third oldest. We have two pets, a dog and a cat. I've been brought up in the faith and love the Lord. I believe it is critical that kids grow up learning biblical morals and the importance of discipline and respect to those older than them. I like to lead by example and want to be a good influence on those I am around. I don't like cussing! I love to spending quality time with the kids and laughing! I am very outgoing and love sports and outdoor events. I enjoy cooking and don't mind a cleaning! Eventually I want to be a stay at home mom and I think babysitting is a great place to start!

"Kaylee has been such a blessing for me over the past few months and for the foreseeable future as needed. I have a 2.5 y/o and an 8mo old and she cares for them a few times a week so I can either make it to the gym, run errands or just have some me time! My kids absolutely LOVE her! She is so kind and involved. Takes them on walks and actively engages with them! I have even come home a few times to her having tidied up my house if I was falling behind, just because she wanted to help out. She is very reliable and on time. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently babysit two kids, an eight month old infant named Isaiah and a two year old toddler named Addie. They are adorable. I watch them for two hours 3x a week so their momma can go to the gym. I am currently not CRP or First Aid certified but I am in the progress of attaining my certification.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing with toys, making crafts, playing outside, going on walks, doing any outside sport, helping them build things, and reading books together

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is setting a good example for the kids and being intentional about the short period you do get to spend with them! Being a nanny is more than just a job it's quality time and relationships in the making! While it's not always easy with temper tantrums and stinky diapers those moments make the good times all the more special. I find it most important that the kids enjoy hanging out with their babysitter and I want them to look forward to it.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently have no experience with special needs children specifically but I understand the extra care needed for them and it would be something I am willing to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when Addie (2 year old toddle) let me do her hair for the first time. She always insisted on doing it herself until she asked me to give her pigtails! After she stepped on her step stool and dunked her hair in water she handed me the brush and we got to work! She was all excited afterword she looked like Boo from Monsters Inc. it was adorable. She was all smiles the rest of the day after I told her how pretty she looked.
