My favorite moment was when I taught these two children how to make banana pancake. They each took turns mixing the batter. At the end I told them "Now you know how to make pancakes and you can make it for your mom for special occasions. " I see that when kids are helping out in the kitchen they are more likely to eat food that they helped to make.
