A little bit about me

Over the last 12 years, it has been my enjoyment to come alongside families and give each child I care for age appropriate individualized care as best I can to help them develop their sense of self and strengths in all areas.

I personally try my best to create a safe space for every child I care for in order for them to learn more of who they are and navigate that. Communication is very important to me and I help each child learn to understand and communicate their needs as best they can at their age. I've found they do well with a balance of exploring outside, trying new activities and quieter activities like reading, drawing, etc. Individualized care tailored to each child's uniqueness is important!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a preschool for a few years and really enjoyed the experience I gained from that position. It taught me a lot about curriculum, families, and the children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I would love to plan activities to local amusement parks, children’s museums, and other fun activities along those lines. I also like to incorporate a balance of indoor activities such as reading, coloring, games, imaginative play, and arts and crafts to name a few!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure the child feels safe and loved. When a strong foundation like that is built, it helps them gain confidence in who they are and their abilities!

My experience with special needs children...

I have helped care for a few families whose children were neurodivergent. I experience working with kids on the autism spectrum, ADHD, ODD, physical handicaps, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments is seeing the face of the child I’m caring for light up when they connect ideas and feel confident putting them into practice!
